After graduating with a Ph.D. in Zoology from UBC, I worked as a
consultant to an environmental group and then, for over twenty
years, taught biology, ecology and environmental science at
Douglas College. I retired from Douglas College in 2007. I
live and work in Belcarra, British Columbia, with my husband,
Des Wilson, a woodturner/artist. I am currently a member of the Suite
E life drawing group in Coquitlam, a member of Art Focus and the Port Moody Artists' Association, and an active member of
the Federation of Canadian Artists. My paintings can be found
in a variety of private collections, from Vancouver to Ottawa, California
and Ireland.
